Sleep Haven is a white-noise and ambient sound app designed for relaxation and sleep. We take privacy seriously and minimize data collection. This policy explains what information we process and how we handle it.

Data We Process

• Audio Recording (optional): If you enable sleep monitoring, the app may access the microphone locally to detect events (e.g., snore, talk). Audio stays on your device. No audio is sent to our servers.
• Usage Data: Basic in-app settings (mix presets, timers) are stored locally using system storage (e.g., SharedPreferences). We do not run analytics or track you across apps.
• No Account: We do not require login or collect identifiable personal information.

Permissions

The app may request microphone permission if you enable sleep monitoring. You can disable permissions at any time in system settings. Core playback features work without microphone access.

Data Retention and Control

• All recordings and session data remain on your device unless you manually export them.
• You can clear app data via system settings to remove all stored content.

Security

We use platform storage and do not transmit sensitive data to remote servers. If you choose to share your data externally, please do so with care.

Children

Sleep Haven is intended for general audiences. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has shared data with us, contact us to request deletion.

Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of data. Since we do not store data on our servers, most rights can be exercised locally by clearing app data.
